Both Hill and Holmes ran into each other as they ran step by step down the sideline, but the hand of the Hill Holmes glanced mask when he crashed to the ground, and field judge Gary Cavaletto threw the flag, which produced an advance of 46 yards for the Jets.
On the next play, Tomlinson ran in from 2 yards, scored his second touchdown of the game with 1:13 to go lifted the Jets past Denver 24-20. It was in the books as their fifth straight victory, if the Jets lost for much of the game and committed three turnovers after a full month without one.

"It 'was probably the biggest game in the game," said Haggan. "They did play and live with it. And they get paid to do. They made a call, and they thought it was the best."
Jets coach Rex Ryan, which is good.
"I thought it was an appropriate song," he said. "The guy (Hill) interfered with him, and (the officer) has to make that call. I do not think (Holmes) had a chance to catch it so when you are missing, the appeal must be made."
Broncos coach Josh McDaniels said the team was to give himself some 'breathing to get only three points from three of its turnover.
"If we had used some of the opportunities that we had a game, does not need to get pass interference calls. I know that, certainly," McDaniels said. "We need to build on this positive experience, to tell ourselves how close you can play and a really good football player in this league.

"It's disappointing, at least. I think all our players are very disappointed. We have a quiet locker room there right now. "
