Hadise debuted in the music scene in 2003 when she entered the Flemish version of Pop Idol. She failed to win, but was given an album contract after her performance impressing "Johan Hendrickx", the man behind "2Brain Records". In 2005 her debut album "Sweat" was released in Belgium and later Turkey. Even though the album failed to chart in Belgium, it spawned the hit singles: "Stir Me Up", "Milk Chocolate Girl" and "Bad Boy", which all charted on the Ultratop 50.
